Bronze medal for Martha McCabe
Martha McCabe of Vancouver won the bronze medal in the women's 200-metre breaststroke on Friday at the FINA World Aquatic Championships. It was Canada's third swimming medal of the competition. Ryan Cochrane of Victoria took silver in the 800 freestyle earlier this week as did Brent Hayden of Vancouver in the 100 freestyle on Thursday.

SHANGHAI, China -- Canadian swimmer Brent Hayden is back on the world championship podium, with an eye to repeating that success at next year's Olympics in London. The 27-year-old from Mission, B.C., won silver Thursday in the men's 100-metre freestyle at the world swimming championships. Australian James Magnussen won in what has been his first international meet.
